Beach Push Terms of Service

Accepting these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and krykftn, the developer of Beach Push, and they apply whenever you play the game. You accept them by tapping “I Accept” when the game asks you to, or by playing the game. If you do not agree with them, please do not play.

If you are not old enough to enter into a contract where you live, please read these terms with a parent or guardian, who accepts them on your behalf.

Your licence to play

We give you a personal, non-commercial, non-exclusive, revocable and non-transferable licence to download Beach Push and play it on devices you own or control, under these terms and the terms of the store you downloaded it from. The game is licensed to you, not sold.

You may not copy, sell, rent or redistribute the game, decompile, reverse engineer or modify it except where the law expressly allows it, or use it for any commercial purpose.

Your game account

• On first launch the game creates an anonymous game account on our server for your installation. You do not need to give a name or an e-mail address.
• You can link Sign in with Apple or Google to your game account to keep your progress on another device. Linking is optional.
• Without a linked account, your progress is tied to your device. If you lose or reset the device, we may not be able to restore it.
• Keep your device and any linked Apple or Google account secure. Anyone who can use them can play with your game account.
• One account is for one player. Do not share, sell, buy or transfer game accounts or progress.

Virtual items and purchases

• Coins, the Beach Pass, card packs, cards, skins and other cosmetics are virtual items. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for real money or anything else outside the game, and cannot be sold or transferred to another player or account.
• Buying or earning a virtual item gives you a limited licence to use it in the game, not ownership of it.
• We may change or rebalance virtual items, prices and rewards, including the contents of card packs and the Beach Pass, to keep the game fair and balanced.
• Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to that store's terms. Purchases are final, except where the store's refund policy or mandatory law says otherwise.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own refund policies; we cannot issue refunds ourselves. If a purchase is refunded, the items or coins it delivered may be removed from your account.
• If you were charged for something that did not arrive, write to us through the contact form at krykftn.dev/contact.

Fair play and conduct

• No cheating: do not use bots, scripts, automation, exploits of bugs, modified or unofficial versions of the game, or tools that change its clock or speed.
• Do not tamper with your save, the game's data, our server or purchases, and do not use fake receipts or someone else's.
• Do not choose a player name, or type answers in online matches, that are offensive, hateful, sexual or threatening, that impersonate someone else, or that contain someone's personal information.
• If you find a bug that gives an unfair advantage, please report it instead of using it.

Our server checks progress, rewards and purchases, and flags results that break these rules. If you break them, we may reset your progress, remove items obtained unfairly, change your player name, or suspend or close your game account, depending on how serious the breach is and whether it is repeated.

Online features

• Online matches, the leaderboard, account linking and the copy of your save on our server need an internet connection and our server.
• Matchmaking may pair you with another player or with a recording of a round played earlier.
• In an online match, other players see your player name, avatar, level and stars, the answers you type and the emoji reactions you send.
• Seasonal content, including Beach Pass seasons, runs for the period shown in the game and ends when that period is over.
• Online features may change, be paused for maintenance or become unavailable, temporarily or permanently. We do not promise that they will always be available or free of errors.

Content and intellectual property

Beach Push and everything in it, including its code, art, characters, sounds, music, texts, themes and word lists, belong to krykftn or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Apart from the licence in these terms, you get no rights to them, and you may not use the Beach Push or krykftn names or logos without permission.

You keep any rights you have in the player name you choose and the answers you type. You allow us to store them and to show them to other players as the game requires.

Privacy

How the game handles your data, what it stores on your device and on our server, what other players can see and how purchases are verified, is explained in the Beach Push Privacy Policy.

Changes to the game and to these terms

We keep improving Beach Push. Updates may add, change or remove features, levels, themes and other content, and online features may need the latest version of the game.

If these terms change, the new version will be published at this same address with a new date. For significant changes the game may ask you to accept the terms again before you continue. If you keep playing after a change, the new terms apply to you.

Ending your use of the game

You can stop playing at any time. Uninstalling the game deletes its data on your device. To have your game account and the data stored about it on our server deleted, ask us through the contact form at krykftn.dev/contact. Deletion cannot be undone: the progress, coins and items on the account are lost.

We may suspend or close a game account that breaks these terms, as described under fair play. We may also stop offering Beach Push or its online features; where we can, we will announce this in advance in the game or on this site.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Beach Push is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise that the game will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that progress and items will never be lost.

To the extent permitted by law, krykftn is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, or the rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. This does not take away the protection given to you by the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live, including any right to bring a claim in its courts.
